This Privacy Policy explains how the Hush app ("the app") handles information. The app is a silent vibration wake alarm provided as a free, ad-supported app for Android phones and Wear OS watches.
There is no account, no sign-up, and no login, and the developer never receives your alarms or settings. You create them on your device and they are stored there.
There are two cases where that data leaves your device. In neither case does it come to us:
The app displays a banner advertisement and offers an optional rewarded ad (which you may choose to watch to unlock unlimited alarms) using Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process certain data, such as device identifiers and approximate (non-precise) location, in accordance with Google's policies. This data is handled by Google, not by the developer of this app. Rewarded ads are entirely optional — the app is fully usable without ever watching one. Where required (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), the app asks for your consent before any ads load. In that consent dialog, "use precise geolocation data" is offered as a separate choice. It is switched off by default and applies only if you turn it on yourself.

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service) to collect anonymous crash reports when the app stops unexpectedly. It also sends a small, fixed set of anonymous diagnostic reports while the app is running normally, when a core function fails silently — for example when an alarm cannot be scheduled with the system, or when the motion sensor used for shake-to-dismiss stops delivering events. These are failures you would otherwise experience only as "the alarm did not ring," with nothing on screen to report.
This helps us fix bugs and improve stability. The data is limited to technical details such as the type of failure, device model, and operating system version. It does not include your alarm times, alarm names, or anything else you entered, and it is not used to identify you personally. It is handled by Google in accordance with its privacy policy.
Shake-to-dismiss reads your device's accelerometer, and only while an alarm is ringing or while you are testing the feature in Settings. No permission is required for this, and the readings never leave your device.
The app uses an internet connection only to load advertisements and send the crash and diagnostic reports described above. All alarm functionality works fully offline.
Uninstalling the app removes the alarms and settings stored on your device. If Android backup included them, that copy is in your own Google account — you can remove it from your device's backup settings or from Google Drive. Because the developer never receives your data, there is nothing on our side to delete.
The app is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The developer does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Ad-related and crash-diagnostic data is processed by Google as described above, under Google's own policies.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

이는 버그 수정과 안정성 개선에 사용됩니다. 수집되는 데이터는 실패 유형, 기기 모델, 운영체제 버전 등 기술적 정보로 한정되고, 알람 시각·알람 이름 등 사용자가 입력한 내용은 포함하지 않으며, 사용자 개인을 식별하는 데 사용되지 않습니다. 해당 데이터는 Google의 개인정보처리방침에 따라 Google이 처리합니다.
흔들어 끄기는 기기의 가속도 센서를 읽습니다. 알람이 울리는 중이거나 설정에서 이 기능을 시험하는 중에만 읽으며, 별도 권한이 필요하지 않고 측정값은 기기를 떠나지 않습니다.
본 앱은 광고를 불러오거나 위에서 설명한 충돌·진단 보고서를 전송할 때만 인터넷에 연결합니다. 알람의 모든 기능은 오프라인에서 동작합니다.
앱을 삭제하면 기기에 저장된 알람과 설정이 함께 지워집니다. Android 백업에 포함되어 있었다면 그 사본은 사용자 본인의 Google 계정에 있으며, 기기의 백업 설정이나 Google 드라이브에서 삭제할 수 있습니다. 개발자는 사용자의 데이터를 받지 않으므로 개발자 측에서 삭제할 것은 없습니다.
본 앱은 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
개발자는 사용자의 개인정보를 수집하지도, 판매하지도, 공유하지도 않습니다. 광고 및 충돌 진단 관련 데이터는 위에 설명한 대로 Google이 자체 정책에 따라 처리합니다.
본 방침은 수시로 업데이트될 수 있으며, 변경 사항은 본 페이지에 "최종 수정일"과 함께 게시됩니다.
